The MacThomas Bridge piping piece was composed by piper J S McCombie to commemorate the opening of the MacThomas Bridge at the Spittal of Glenshee on 18th August 1984. The bridge is in the heart of the Clan MacThomas' ancestral lands. The Clan still meets at the Cockstane in Glenshee, Scotland, as a part of their regular Clan Gatherings, which attract visitors from across the globe. The single cover photo is of the Clan Pipers playing at the Cockstane during the 2008 Clan Gathering.
